Venlo, the Netherlands, 9 April 2009 - Rudi De Becker nominated to Board of Supervisory Directors Océ N.V. 

The Board of Supervisory Directors of Océ N.V. has decided to nominate Mr. Rudi De Becker (62) as a member of the Board of Supervisory Directors.

Since his nomination cannot be put on the agenda of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of April 23, 2009 in a legally valid way, an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders will be held at a later moment in the coming months.

Mr. De Becker will already be involved in the activities of the Board of Supervisory Directors as of April 24, 2009.

The Board of Supervisory Directors is of the opinion that, in view of his broad experience and knowledge of Océ’s key markets, Mr. De Becker is well positioned to make a telling contribution to the activities of the Board of Supervisory Directors.

Mr. R. (Rudi) De Becker

Mr. R. De Becker (1946) is of Belgian nationality.
He studied Economics at the Gent University (Belgium) where he gained a postgraduate degree in marketing and distribution.
Currently, Mr. De Becker is chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fabory (distributor of fasteners), a member of the Supervisory Board of Arseus N.V. (distributor of pharmaceutical and medical supplies) and a member of the Advisory Board of CVC Capital Partners Belgium (private equity).
From 2004 to 2008 Mr. De Becker was Chief Executive Officer of Hagemeyer N.V.
From 2001 to 2003 he was a member of the Board of Executive Directors of Buhrmann (currently Corporate Express) and from 1998 to 2000 he was a member of the Executive Board of Samas Group N.V..
Until 1998 he held various management posts, among others at Black & Decker and Xerox.
Mr. De Becker holds no shares in the capital of Océ N.V..
